In a series of inspiring phone calls, the project came to life. Tony Robbins reached out to Dr. Dre, who then contacted Jimmy Jam, and the rest is history. Jam recalls, 'Dre said, "Hey, what are we doing?" and I showed him my studio, ready to mix the record.'
The impact of this initiative is already being felt, with Robbins' meal challenge having provided an astonishing 62 billion meals in recent years. But the need is still dire, especially with the war in Ukraine affecting food supplies to Africa.
