Exciting News for Golf Fans! The Georgetown University men's golf team has unveiled its schedule for the spring of 2026, a lineup that promises competitive action and thrilling moments. Announced by Head Coach Tommy Hunter, this season's agenda includes five noteworthy tournaments, culminating in the prestigious 2026 BIG EAST Men's Golf Championships presented by JEEP, set to take place from May 2-4 in Hardeeville, South Carolina.
"Our upcoming spring calendar showcases five tournaments leading up to the BIG EAST Championship. We will be participating in several exciting events, including George Mason's tournament at the scenic Mid-Pines Golf Club in Pinehurst, North Carolina, as well as William & Mary's competition at The Golden Horseshoe Golf Club located in Williamsburg, Virginia. We'll also compete in Villanova's Wildcat Invitational at Gallaway National Golf Club in Galloway, New Jersey, before heading to Princeton, New Jersey, for the Princeton Invitational at Springdale Country Club. Finally, we will wrap up our tournament play at the BIG EAST Championship at Riverton Pointe Golf Club. Each of these courses presents unique challenges that require us to adopt specific strategies for success," said Coach Hunter.
The competitive action kicks off on March 9, when the Hoyas will head to Southern Pines, North Carolina, to participate in the Babygrande Ross Collegiate Classic, running from March 9-11. Following this, they will make their way to Williamsburg, Virginia, for the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate, scheduled for March 23-24 at the renowned Golden Horseshoe Golf Club.
As April arrives, the Blue & Gray team will re-enter tournament play, starting with the Wildcat Spring Invitational on April 6-7, hosted by Villanova University in Galloway Township, New Jersey. Shortly after, they will travel to Princeton, New Jersey, for the much-anticipated Princeton Invitational on April 11-12 at Princeton University.
The season reaches its peak at the 2026 BIG EAST Men's Golf Championship Presented by JEEP, taking place from May 2-4 in Hardeeville, South Carolina, where the Hoyas will aim to secure their fifth conference title.
