Are you passionate about transforming English language education in your community? Here’s your chance to make a lasting impact! Applications are now open for the prestigious A.S. Hornby Educational Trust Scholarship, offering a fully funded opportunity to pursue a Master’s in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at the University of Exeter. But here’s where it gets exciting: only ten scholarships are available, and the deadline is 9 February 2026. Don’t miss this life-changing opportunity!
Why This Scholarship Matters
The A.S. Hornby Educational Trust, in partnership with the University of Exeter, is on a mission to strengthen English language teaching in low- and middle-income countries. This scholarship isn’t just about earning a degree—it’s about empowering experienced educators to become leaders in TESOL policy, practice, and professional development. But here’s where it gets controversial: While the scholarship targets educators with significant experience, some might argue that focusing solely on seasoned professionals excludes fresh talent. What do you think? Should opportunities like this prioritize experience over potential?
